Chris Weale is aiming to make the very most of being handed a Championship lifeline by Leicester City.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper is playing catch-up in the second tier after his progress was stalled at Bristol City.
Weale began his career at Yeovil and made his debut in a Football League Trophy tie against Hereford aged just 17.
He made over 150 appearances before a cruciate ligament injury ruled him out until former Huish boss Gary Johnson took him to Bristol.
However, Weale was unable to dislodge Adriano Basso from the first-choice position, but a loan return to Yeovil proved to be a spectacular success with five clean sheets in 10 games and he also scored a last-minute goal against Hereford.
He became City boss Nigel Pearson’s third signing following the permanent captures of Jack Hobbs and Wayne Brown.
