Harry Worley has made just one start for Leicester City – and it came in one of the most important matches in the club’s history.
Worley was on loan at the Walkers Stadium when former boss Ian Holloway pitched him into the action for the must-win Championship game at Stoke on the final day of the campaign.
City lost and were relegated to the third tier for the first time in their history and, a month later, Holloway was also shown the door.
Worley was the survivor, though, as one of Holloway’s final jobs was to offer the ex-Chelsea man a permanent move.
However, since then, Worley has been unable to do enough to impress current boss Nigel Pearson and has spent most of the past 16 months away from the club.
Last season, he had a spell at Luton and is currently on loan at Crewe.
