Make mine a double, says Leicester City ace Andy King

Andy King is hoping to stage a repeat of a match-winning performance when Leicester City travel to Plymouth Argyle tomorrow.

When the teams met earlier in the season, the Welsh international struck the only goal in the 94th minute to propel City to third in the Championship table.

Fast forward almost three months and King has set his sights on completing the double over the Pilgrims.

"I've never played at Plymouth before," said the 21-year-old.

"I've heard it is a difficult place to go, but anywhere in the Championship is hard at the moment.

"They are fighting for survival and need every point they can get. We have to go down there and be on our game to come away with anything.

"We would certainly take a 1-0 again. It is always nice to score the winner and get the three points."

Home Park is the venue for the second of City's three-match away sequence and King knows this is a tough period in the season.

"It is difficult," he said. "But, from pre-season, that is what you have to do the training for.

"We have the staff at the club to help us prepare right. If we can keep the preparation right, there is no reason why we can't be fresh for each game.

"We are not going to set ourselves a target of this many points or that many points. Every game we go into we believe we can win."

King has played a major part in City's push for promotion, having started 22 of the 30 league games.

At the moment, he is thriving in a 4-3-3 system alongside Matt Oakley and Richie Wellens in midfield.

"It is nice to play in that formation," he said. "It allows us to play a bit more freely and I think since we changed to that shape we have played well. We are creating chances.''

Looking back on Tuesday's dramatic 1-1 draw at Bristol City, King said: "On reflection, I think it was fair. I definitely didn't think we deserved to lose and maybe on another day we could have nicked it.

"Maybe on their second-half performance they might think they had chances too.

"We were pleased with the performance, especially in the first half. That warranted a draw at least."
