City's joy at Blackpool

Sunday, February 07, 2010, 08:07

Jubilant Leicester City claimed their first away success in the Championship since October with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Blackpool.

Recalled winger Dany N'Guessan fired City into a 15th-minute lead which substitute Lloyd Dyer doubled 12 minutes from time.

Blackpool striker Stephen Dobbie set up a nervy final few minutes with an 88th-minute goal and the home side had strong claims for a penalty turned down in stoppage time when Charlie Adam fell in the box following a tussle with N'Guessan
