Clough v Davies - the phoney war?

I had to laugh on Saturday when I saw the footage of the so-called brawl towards the end of the Derby v Forest game. What a load of handbags.

Forest boss Billy Davies accused his Rams counterpart Nigel Clough of kneeing him in the back of the leg. There were so many people around him I am amazed he could see anything. He isn't exactly a towering figure.

In fact, if Clough did raise his knee deliberately he would have probably caught Davies on the chin.

Anyway, compared to this clip of the captain of Canada's junior team's treatment of an opponent, the Clough v Davies clash seems a tad tame.

This made me wince.​ At least the Rams and Forest clash was in the heat of the moment, this guy wasn't even playing at the time.
