Wayne Brown - the last of the high-rollers!

​The Leicester City lads had a day out at the races earlier this week for a spot of team bonding, but any worries that they would be throwing away their wedge were unfounded.

Alex Bruce told me he got to know his new team-mates at Southwell race course but there was no wild spending.

There were a couple of lads who got a couple of winners, but it was all sensible stuff. No one is going to be struggling to pay their mortgage this month.

In fact, Bruce said the most sensible with his money was Wayne Brown, who was placing 50p bets. No fears then that Brown will turn out to be the next Paul Merson then, although those 50ps soon mount up Wayne. Take it steady!

While in Blackpool this weekend, they are taking Brown to the seaside arcade so he can have a go on the two penny waterfalls.
